Time has come for Soundscaping #2 – this time we are extremely proud and celebrate the release of Air Resort – Christophe Bailleau’s elegant and lofty ambient album that inaugurated our little, Oslo-based record label, Soundscaping Records.
Air Resort was released right at the end of 2008, and this Friday we will have a live performance of album material and more – with special visuals by Bailleau added to the fray. The venue is the intimate Sound of Mu, at the south end of Markveien, Grünerløkka.
We also have the great pleasure of welcoming Benjamin Finger on solo act (from Beneva vs. Clark Nova) on this evening. He plays quiet, folk-oriented pop and ambient, sprinkled with tasty, little electronic details. Inspired by labels such as Kranky, Fat Cat and Type, he plays live sometimes by his own and sometimes with friends. This spring he is also releasing live on his own as Woods of Broccoli is dropped on How is Annie Records March 2009.
