Christophe Bailleau
Christophe Bailleau is of French origin but has lived in Belgium for numerous years. Since departing from various rock and electro outfits (leading to three CDs under the Glyth moniker and several collaborations), Bailleau decided to continue his pursuit of his own name. The result over time has shaped up as the fusion of post-rock and electronica, but ever-changing and ranging from brilliantly flowing ambient pieces to psychedelic tapestries of synths and tinkering sounds to more traditional sounds based around string instruments, predominantly guitar.
Christophe Bailleau is first and foremost a multimedia artist, a very prolific one at that, and takes on intriguing projects in various disciplines, transgressing boundaries with his works in sound and visual installations, music production, photography, video and dvd productions. Bailleau has collaborated with several artists to this date, Sebastien Roux, Mark Templeton, Won, Sogar, Amute, Julie Maréchal, etc. being just some of these, and we expect to see much of Bailleau in the time to come.
